Okay. Here's my dilemma. I am in Hot Springs for the day, and my boyfriend is at work. My car broke down so I have to drive HIS car, which means I can't go back home, and I would stay at his dad's house but.. well, for some reason his dad is really weird about me being there when Dustin's not there. And his mom is out of town so I can't go to her house to hang out. So I'm stuck in Hot Springs, I have next to no money, and I have to entertain myself until 8pm tonight. Right now I'm in Books a Million using the wifi, and I have knitting materials on me so I will be starting a project. I also plan to clean out his car. But what the hell can I do for eight more hours to keep myself busy? sad.gif

I don't know why, but I love your Dustin stories. Is that weird? Even though this one doesn't involve Dustin that much.. Okay, whatever.

You can go out into the streets and start singing. I'm not even lying, LOL. Pretty sure you can get some money from that. aniwink.gif

BTW I miss your singing and lost all your mp3 files. Damn.

Careful cleaning out the car. It sounds like a situation you would see on tv where you think your doing something nice, but you end doing something horrible... hehe.

Hot springs Colorado?

This is the perfect opportune time to practice your skills to plz him more. Find some randy dude on the street, maybe a homeless person, and get to work!

LOL, Hot Springs, Arkansas. I don't ever realize people don't know which state I'm in.

Haha, you should've been around for that conversation this morning, Tina. I woke up and realized that I was gonna be around the house most of the day, and then I mentioned it to Dustin.. "Uh, does your dad know I don't have my car right now?" "Uh, maybe? I think so?" "..okay, is he alright with me staying here literally all day while you're gone since I can't go anywhere?" "Uh.. hmm.. well you could take me to work.." I took that to mean that I should probably stay away from there until he's off work. Dang.

His dad makes us sleep in separate beds, supposedly because there are two kids in the house and we're not married. Which is fine. But he's just WEIRD about it, is the thing.

And LOL I told him I'd clean out the car. He said he was fine with it.. It's just really disgusting. A whole bunch of fast food trash and dirt EVERYWHERE. It smells.

Hot Springs? Yeah, I know.. Downtown is pretty much the only place that's worth seeing if you're a tourist.. I go down there every once in a while with some friends just to walk around and hang out but for the most part even that has gotten boring.

Haha, I know some people who like to do freerunning in downtown Hot Springs. The buildings are nice and climbable. I hate how they close down the park after like 10pm, though.

I may end up going downtown and walking around for a while.. I got about three stripes done on this scarf and I'm already tired of doing it. I guess I'd probably keep going if I was in a room by myself, but it's pretty crowded in Books a Million right now, and I don't like knitting in front of people.. >.>

I'd play World of Warcraft for 8 hours, but that's probably not an option for you.

Last night I spend a good four hours organizing my music library. I found artwork for all the albums without artwork. I corrected metadata on a lot of songs (some were organized under the wrong album, had the wrong year, etc.) Then I listened to a lot of old music that I haven't listened to in a while, and a lot of new music I haven't listened to much. That can kill some time.

Or you could buy parts and build a potato gun. I could give you directions for doing that. But there's probably not a good place to shoot a potato gun in Hot Springs.

O man, I totally forgot that you knit! My mom started earlier this year, because it's good for her arthritis, and she made me a really cool purple and green scarf.

Last week I randomly started going through the vinyl records that we have and wasted quite a bit of my time playing some strange stuff... I never knew my parents were Star Wars fans.

I'm at a friend's house now (I didn't know she lived in HS, lol). I got started on that this morning and I figure I'll probably finish this one - it's an odd color mixture but I like the stripes and the diagonal stockinette is pretty cool. :)
