they file taxes for ads? what? Options

on another forum there was a topic about how they will file taxes on the money recieved from your ads? i don't get it?

i currently only use bidvertiser.. i wouldn't have to pay taxes on it right?

As far as I know you have to pay taxes. But unless you're making thousands a year, it won't even be noticeable.

My ad accounts are set up under a bank account that my dad had to cosign (I'm under 18), so any taxes are added to his. He says it's barely anything.

It's not that the ad sites are charging you taxes, it's that you're making a profit. If you start to make a lot, say... a thousand, the ad companies will have to show that to the IRS. But mostly you won't be making that much.

If you live in America, you do not need to pay taxes if you are making less than $3000 a year, if you are making more than $3000 a year then you need to pay taxes before the IRS gets on your case. As far as bidvertisers you do not need to pay taxes because it is wired through Paypal. If you paypal exceeds $3000 then paypal is going to ask you to pay taxes. The only reason google might have tax issues is because google only hands out cheques and no Paypal.

I find the word tax halarious, i guess thats what i get for hanging out with all guys. Anyway, i was once told if you made over $2,000 but that was a while back.

it cant be $600, I mean if you make only $650 a year then thats like poverty level. So far from Bidvertisers I made $30, expecting another $10.81 payout on July 31st

If all of the money you earn in one year (including advertising) is more than $5,450, or more than $900 in unearned money (like gifts), then that money has to be reported, regardless of your age. If you're a dependent, your parents can include that money on their tax return.

i tried changing it so when i tried to sign up with it, it said that that email was already used for another account.. or something like that.

File taxes on EVERY penny you make. The company that you are using to advertise will list you on their taxes, and the IRS if they want will do a cross check to see if you paid in.

On the other hand, there are limits. Say you only make two grand in advertising a year, the government could care less.

One year I made a little over $12,000 on advertising using multiple ad publishers, and I actually got money back on my taxes for doing it. Sometimes it's best to just file. It's better to pay then to get audited.
