alright, i was going to make this into a killer design, but after i
showed it to one of my affils, he has second thought about the idea.

now this design is HUGE, no joke & if i do complete it, i plan on
submitting it on here/CB. but i don't want to code it & have ppl hate it.

SO bottom line: SHOULD I CODE IT OR KILL IT?
and comments on what i could change/alter to make it more acceptable?

i think this is way too busy with way too much going on. the font gets completely lost. there isn't really an overall color scheme. it seems to be blurry-ish, duno if you were going for that. it's just chaos. i mean i duno, i think a lot of trimming down needs to happen to it. it doesn't look that appealing to me at the moment.

yes thus the name " Galactic. Catastrophe. " its suppose to be a ruined mess, i wanted to make it more blurry than shape but i guess its blurry enough :D

these are all the brushes, vectors, and textures i had saved up, a few backgrounds in there too, so i decided to splash them on here instead of having one solid image this time. i've been doing more abstract work which has made my coding a lot easier.

what should i "trim" down if you could pinpoint some things?

Looks better as a banner than a layout to me, to be honest.

I like the colors but at the same time it is a little too much. Maybe little less blur?

Right now, it truly does look like a catastrophe. Tone it down. A lot. Don't kill it..just..give it one hell of a makeover.

^Pretty much tone down all the chaos in the banner/layout/graphic/whatever. You used way too many brushes/textures. I can't really read what you put up at the top. I think you should take out a lot of the brushes and go from there. Or just start over :/

eek.gif Holy crap, I agree with everyone else. Tbh, I wouldn't use this layout at all. Don't use so many brushes and textures and stuff to make it it look "chaotic" just try finding some abstract brushes or something and use those instead to make it looks kind of chaotic. Kind of like my layout, Physcological Disturbrance. Believe it or not, the background is actually just 5 brushes and that's it. Still looks chaotic but somewhat appealing. :)
