Need help with text spacing Myspace 2.0! Options

I took away the "message", "blog", and "comment" links from the top of my page because I didn't like them. So I made my own links to put at the bottom of my page for "blog" and "message", but I can't figure out how to get them to stay on the same line, say one on the left, one on the right. The coding looks like this so far:

So right now, the "message me" link is on one line with the "view my blog" link on the next line directly under it, like this:

message me
view my blog

I want it like this:

message me

view my blog

Can anyone help me with this? They're just simple links, nothing fancy. I figured I'm just being dense in not being able to figure out the coding for this.
