Why isn't it considered racist to have special "black" events such as black history month, black rodeos, black beauty pageants, etc.
If there were special white events, people would think that's racist. And why would an all white TV station, church, or magazine be racist. Why is it racist for a white employer to not have any black employees, but not racist for a black employer to not have any white employees? I really do want real answers. I want to know why white people are always called racist for everything, but if the shoe was on the other foot, it would be fine. No degrading answers please. I am seriously asking this. I love the white people and I appreciate their hard work in today's society. My white neighbor, Samuel Einhardt once came into my store and helped me with a lot of work. Also, white people approach things non-violently compared to the people who come to my store a lot trying to get away without getting caught by my small Chinese eyes. Look, my eyes may be small but I can see everything! Can monkeys understand that? |

I think it would be a bit too much to have a white history month. Is it racist to have a black history month? Well, no, but I think it is a bit over-the-top since black people have history in every month, as do all other races, so I do not see why we celebrate that particular race for an entire month, but we do not celebrate any others like that.
QUOTE(IAmBackMuaha) Why is it racist for a white employer to not have any black employees, but not racist for a black employer to not have any white employees? Well, I think it's stupid to think of it racist either way. I think the most qualified person should get the job, regardless of race. If it happens to be a black person, that's fine. If it happens to be a white person, that's okay, too. I never really thought of it being racist for a company to not have a certain race working for them. It's only racist in my mind if that company refuses to hire a certain race. If they just don't happen to have anyone black or white at that time, that's perfectly fine with me. |

This reminds me, something has always baffled me, is why people always ask questions they already know the answer to concerning racism.
Example: "Why is it okay for a black person to call me cracker, but I can't call them n*gga? How come this is not racist?" Because you let them call you that without any retaliation whereas many black people I know don't put up with that stuff period. You call them that, and you're laying in the dirt. And of course a person can be racist no matter the color. I personally think that every person is racist, including myself. Just some more than others, some less harmful than others. You should be honored I posted in this fake shit. ![]() |

Look, my eyes may be small but I can see everything! Can monkeys understand that? First off, is this from that stupid "white power" chain letter? Uhm, there is all white stations, churches, and magazines, they just necessarily don't say "all white all the time", almost everything is all white people. Even though modern african americans didn't have to deal with slavery and all of that mumbo jumbo, their ancestors still survived it, and the modern blacks still have to deal with racial profiling, and a lot of other stuff, not saying all blacks have to deal with it, but black history month is a month because people had to fight to get black people where they are today, why do you think Obama was such a big deal? This wouldn't of happened without the fight people had to put up with. And about the black TV stations, there is only about 2 stations that are mostly black people, but name a TV station that has more than 2 shows that are for black people. |

BET. MTV has plenty, also. |

Would it be considered racist? Probably, but that's not why I wouldn't support having a white history month. I think it would be superfluous and silly.
