Hi, my name is Mandi, and it’s nice to be a part of CreateBlog.
I had actually never heard of CreateBlog until, well, a few hours ago. I can’t say I’m a part of many social networking sites. (This makes #2.) CreateBlog reminds me of what LiveJournal used to be; a place to let your blog and art fart itches run amuck! I’m glad to have found a website where in your friends list’s duty is no longer to ascertain your individuality. A lot has changed since the late 1990s when I began writing HTML/CSS in Notepad. To be honest, I never really advanced, still writing all my tables from scratch. When I turned 20, I pursued a career in Law Enforcement, leaving my poor Notepad to the wolves. Five years later, with a move from Florida to Arizona, and a heck of a lot more time on my hands, I decided to come back to my roots. I have a lot of catchin’ up to do! x:,’ I <3 taking photographs. Like, for seriously and stuff! I guess I’ve always had approbation for [wo]man’s ability to capture and sustain time. Oh, and am always lookin’ for an excuse to get out of the house! For me, photography isn’t about creativity; it’s about arresting the brilliancy that already exists. Oh, and I listen to 1990s Alternative, Punk Rock, Shoegaze, Indie, Traditional Folk, and Booty Bass. (:,’ I hope to get to know more of you, and that you’ll keep posting Photoshop/Paint Shop Pro tutorials! I’m eatin’ them up like you don’t even know! <3 Mandi Brooke |
