Went downtown with Gigi and the gang. We walked around Canada Place for a while, in mad pursuit of this red foam hat in the shape of a maple leaf, but gave up after walking in circles so many times. Then we had Japadogs for lunch (OMG, SOO GOOD!!!) and chilled at the beach. Played some Taboo. Then had ramen for dinner, and spent the rest of the night at Stanley Park and watched the fireworks.

btw Tung, I heard Taylor Momsen was in Vancouver last Saturday; they opened for the Veronicas or something. Dang. XD.gif

Oroshi is the best!!! Too bad I wasn't hungry at the time when we saw the Japadog stand. We also got maple leaf tattoo, flag pins, and I got a poster of the Canadian flag! And we saw Quatchi in the flesh!! ilu quatchi. But we REALLY wanted that foam maple leaf hat.

Probably not as exciting as July 4th but still not too bad. I had fun! Btw we turned 142 this year. :)

July 4th is when the United States celebrates its sovereignty while Canada Day is when we celebrate...uh, conjoining territories via a British-devised constitution. Nice.

I pledge allegiance
To Queen Frag
And her mighty state of hysteria.
And to the monarchy
For which we can't stand
One nation, under Her Wretchedness
Indivisible, with dynasties and taxes for all.
