Jeremy is a f*cking jackass who hates anything American

but I will forever love the show for their Rockin Robin Space Shuttle, even if they faked the explosion. Also, their drive through that hick town in those spray painted cars was awesome.

I kind of have to agree with him. - most American cars are pretty...weak. They have absolutely NO idea of what real American muscle is, though, and that always annoys the hell out of me. But yeah, that Southern episode was pretty bs awesome!

And omg, 16 HOURS~ :D I think I'm gonna asplode.

GMM Luton
JLR
Noble Automotive
McLaren Automotive
Rolls Royce
Vauxhall
Lotus
Aston Martin
Peugeot

vs

Chrystler
Ford
General Motors (though that covers about 20 different brands)

I'd say it's pretty close.

I do prefer import cars over American, but it's not like the Americans aren't incapable of producing something just as fast or faster.

The fastest street legal car is an American Car.
SSC Ultimate Aero - 257 MPH Top Seepd
Buggatti Veyron(Import car once the fastest street legal car) - 253 MPH Top Speed

Chevorlet Corvette ZR1 dusting imports, Nissan GTR, Porche GT2, Ferrari 599

Corvette beats GT2 in 1 on 1 race. Only reason the GT2 beat it the first time was the surface.

American Muscles are not weak, it's the handling of these cars that's the downside. American Muscles are meant for a straight line races, whereas the imports can do curves better. Since the Top Gear track has a lot of curves I can understand the gripe I guess. So if you doing a race with curves ---> Import all day. A race in a straight line ---> Import of American muscle.

They were going to, actually, but the idea was cancelled and for that I am immensely grateful. TGA = disaster. TGUSA = end of world.

Wow you took that bit completely wrong. I didn't say anything about speed comparisons, just that most American cars aren't very good. I also never said ALL American cars are weak, just most. I never even got specific, just said in general. I grew up around drag racing and muscle cars, spent half my youth in the garage. Believe me dude, I know how fast they are.

Also, I dunno why you put Bugatti under the quickest cars when you're going for American pride. Bugatti is owned by VW and they are decidedly German - not American. Even the original Bugatti label (pre-VW) wasn't American, it was French.
