There is people who design for a living like Fixtatik, hes really good, and has good pricing

or just boot up photoshop and make document around 1200x1200 pixels, and another around 800x1200 (800 for width)

the smaller one goes on the bigger one in the middle (for your myspace content) and then you design the background around that.

theres posts like:http://www.createblog.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=220337
that explain more, theres even designers on youtube that show you step by step, just search myspace background

Alright i got that figured out,now my only problem is,when people visit the page with a higher resolution with firefox it stretches the background image..looks fine in IE..is there anyway to stop firefox from stretching the image..you can test it here

Nope no tool bars in IE,dont use it i use firefox..but i did what you suggested which changed the size to 1600x1200 but it still happens on my screen..so i just changed it back to the back image that i made.. The weird thing is,after i hit sumbit and am in the edit part of the profile it works perfect, its just when i go to visit the profile it stretches it out.

What is your screen resolution?

This kid has 1400 x 900. Use your brain.

Right now im using 1280x800 but thats not my native resolution, but i went ahead and fixed it by just adjusting it in firefox,to bad there wasnt a universal fix to where everyone seen it the same way across all the major browsers :P

Because you're using photobucket, it'll resize the image. Use imgkk.

Fixed. Imageshit is slow, and likes to delete things.

Or upload it to some other free hosting site like tinypic. Or just find a site that'll give you a tool to upload an image and just get that image url for you to use. Also, that background wouldn't be too hard to make. I could just find some grungy texture and download a grungy brush to erase off at the sides of it and make a big black rectangle in the middle. You'd probally also have to adjust the hues and adjustment levels.

^ Tinypic usually likes to resize images, though.

that's what I figured too. Which is why I also mentioned those other sites that like let you upload a file for free and just give you a url to the file. Like they're 'quick' hosting sites.
