Looking for any tutorial or help to making a basic countdown timer, i watched this tutorial: http://learn015.com/podcasts/flash/countdown.mp4
and tried to go along with it, but i am new to flash and it just didnt work. so if anyone could provide the code to this for me, or another with some tips that would be great |

Never mind I just went ahead and made it here is what I'm assuming you wanted.
Example And here is a link to the source files you can edit it as you please and do whatever with it. It just includes the basic code for the timer. It's a Megaupload link by the way. FlashCountdownTimer.rar |
