I don't really do much on CB now besides lurk... but I talked to a friend recently about a project that he's working on with another of my friends, and they're looking for designers.
This is their website - craneate.com Yeah, it's not very pretty. But they're working on a new version, aandd he just asked if I knew any designers and I said, "I guess...." The thing is, they're not just looking for someone to do the job and forget about it. They're actually looking for someone to join the team. And yes, they're offering money - of course! These are examples of the look they're going for:
I'm sure there's more but it was a rather brief conversation. I know not all you guys are hardcore designers, but shoot. There's gotta be some of you out there. If interested, reply with your name and link your portfolios here or PM them both to me. If you know anyone, tell them to give me a heads up at my facebook (in the profile) or if they're members, PM me.. duh :) STAFF - I dunno if this exactly is advertising, as there's not a product to sell. Do what you will! |

Is needing to know code and html and css a requirement? I'm a print guy but I can make the graphics for your friend, I just won't be able to code that for him as well.

CAUTION: this is not a simple design and leave project. This is not a MySpace layout or a simple div. This is a JOB, and jobs like this tend to be extremely demanding, especially for quick, high quality content.
