 Jealous? I knew it would happen but when I use, safari if I do it twice the second time is way faster, because safari is the best browser for caching websites and making it faster. |

So speed tests are not really dependent on the browser, it also could be the cable network at the give time of testing. I have seen cable networks go from 24 MBPs a second to 2 or 3 MBPs a second in less than 3-4 minutes. Do you live in a highly populated area? |

Ping measures the round-trip time it takes to get from point A (your computer) to point B (the server or website you are trying to get to).
