This is my fourth website template!
Uhmm, the only big difference in this one and the last is that it has a lot more color.
So take a look!

I did give you advice. I told you everything bad about it. So stop whining that people are being mean and take the criticism.

I'll repeat myself. Its too basic. Divs are bad for websites. The text is ugly and doesn't match anything. Try doing SOMETHING to it. Add a shine. A reflection. A shadow.

And for the love of God stop telling me to stfu.

Just look at other website templates on this site. Do your look anywhere close to as good as any of them? Not YET, so work harder until it does. Im not being mean.

That is ugly text. It doesn't match the pictures of Megan Fox whatsoever.
You need to stop making layouts that just have div's everywhere. Try looking at the layouts other people have posted that don't have scroll boxes everywhere. When I was coding your layouts to help you, I was thinking, "Holy cow, why does he need so many scroll boxes, this is rediculous." Most people don't like so many scroll boxes. I like your second website layout better because it doesn't have any.
Okay so he doesn't like celebrity website templates. That doesn't mean you have to be so mean when confronting him about it.
So, maybe he doesn't have any website templates, not EVERYONE in the world does. Some people HATE coding and that's why we are here, to help people code layouts on many different sites, not all sites but a lot of them. If you don't know that by now you shouldn't be coding ANYTHING. I do it for the pleasure of helping people not the thought of one day opening my business and doing it for the money. I don't care whether I get rich or if I'm barely affording rent in my own apartment or have to live with my parents. I love it and if you code you should love it too.

I know it's freaky but it's fun for me. It's a way I can be creative at my own pace.

I mean one day I want to open my own business but I wont ONLY do it for the money. I'll help people code things. I'd have a site like createblog but update it A LOT more than the owner does here. I totally understand your point-of-view though.

First of all, there's nothing wrong with having a div for a website layout, Joseph. It's not the norm and doesn't look the best in a lot of cases, but there's no rule against it.

As for the layout, I'm not a fan. I'm going to give you the same advice I gave theerinkal - Take a break and work on your skills. You're not going to get better unless you seriously set aside some time to try. Whipping together a layout every day isn't going to help you improve.

Just wanted to say that the background doesn't have to tile when the content is larger than the page. Note that some people have large resolutions, so you need to make a website that looks good in all screen sizes. You could do something link this - http://www.createblog.com/website-template...tured-memories/ - that has a repeating background down the y-axis that adjusts for the size of the content.

As for the design of the layout, besides the pictures of Megan Fox, I really don't see any design work done in the layout. I looks like you just used the erase, shape, and type tools and called it a day. It may sound harsh, but you need to put more hours into perfecting the craft and not feel like you have to keep whipping out design after design. Breathe a little and try to cultivate your creative mind.

Ever tried working with brushes? They can be your best dream or your worst nightmare, so use them wisely.

As for the layout, I'm not a fan. I'm going to give you the same advice I gave theerinkal - Take a break and work on your skills. You're not going to get better unless you seriously set aside some time to try. Whipping together a layout every day isn't going to help you improve.

She's right, it helped me A LOT and I'm sure it will help you. I've got a better eye for colors and I'm getting better at choosing what font style I should use on my blends, web layouts, and other graphics.

to 5star: it's not so much about colors you need to focus on than it is concept and composition. i hate to be the one to say it, but a celebrity photo as a header image or a background is nothing original at all, and i'm starting to get fed up with them. what i would suggest, instead of playing around with different color schemes and the same style of design, take a look at what professional web designers are doing. run a google search for "css gallery" and study the designs featured on those sites. try to replicate a few (just use those for personal reference; never publish them) without looking at the coding or copying the images. once you're able to do that, build on your own original ideas.

tl;dr to most of the posts. But I think the images are a bit too bright/glowing. I don't really like how the table and heading colors are different colors. Also the font you used for "Megan Fox" is random.

I don't like that there are three divs. Two is perfectly fine and would look better, in my opinion.

I'm not feeling the colors, either. Personally, I would snatch that dark violet-copper color on her dress and that beautiful shamrock color.

I agree that the font looks strange. It would look more appropriate at a circus, in my opinion.

I'm definitely not feeling the black div right on top of the stark white background.
