I think the best present ever is making her feel special, because it is her special day.

Make her have breakfast in bed, do all the chores for her, book a spa day or soothing place for her, have her friends & family come eat a nice resturant, maybe your family and friends can help pitch in the money.

Finally, give her something a mother would think of as memorable from her best kid.

I was going to say Birthday Sex, but she your mom and she 60. I can't imagine someone 60 getting they freak on. sick.gif

Give her something that's for the hobby she does, or some jewelry that she will be able to use as a special memorabilia

Try doing something you wouldn't normally do for her and maybe even throw her a little party. Idk, there are a lot of possibilities. thumbsup.gif

I don't know about this one. Have you ever been to a Rolling Stones concert?

They're so old, they're boring.

The perfect gift would be, taking her to a place for old people and keeping her there.

jk.

haha. that's true. in my mind, the band hadn't aged as well.
maybe i should just avoid answering this one as i have no experience with this kind of thing. i like the spa thing though...

some good ideas, thanks guys!

made a spa and lunch appointment. none of the bands she likes are playing in the area any time soon unfortunately.

also had a friend suggest making a personalized memory gift book at CelebrateAHero.com, so i'll be busy working on that with my siblings

thanks again! :)
