More consistent than The New Danger, better composed than True Magic but not as complete as Black on Both Sides. It grew on me.

Its a very abstract album, but not too abstract. I like it. Hell, if Dilla were still alive, I'd love to hear a Mos Def album produced solely by him.

"Each shirt comes with a digital download tag carrying a unique code and is manufactured by clothing company LnA." How else does it help to have an artist make his album available through a site like lnaclothing.com? "You're bypassing the middleman, like iTunes," Wineberg added. According to Wineberg, fans will start seeing this shirt next month. UPDATE: Representatives from Nielsen, the company behind Soundscan, contacted HipHopDX Friday morning. While the spokesperson said Nielsen would reportedly like more information from Invisible DJ and like-minded companies, they have no existing knowledge, and thus have no intention of tracking or recording units sold. i gotta say i think that's a pretty cool idea. i wasn't a fan of the art on this album. i thought the packaging was sloppy and not well done. but on other albums that have really good cover art i'd buy it for sure. |

Same here. The picture itself wasn't bad, but I didn't like that purplish hue. The New Danger's cover art will forever be my favorite. |
