ugh, issues with hp mouse, it keeps double clicking on its own

does anyone else have this problem with their mouse? mine keeps double clicking and i can't seem to fix it. i checked the settings and unplugged it but it still does it.

lol you sure you didn't set your icons to that one click option? I don't see how a mouse can double click without the button being physically pressed twice in a row. huh.gif

i know! i made sure that it wasn't set on single click on my mouse options but it still does it from time to time. especially when i'm using the pen tool in photoshop

Well... maybe it's time to get a new mouse? I've never had a mouse randomly double click without me physically doing the double clickin blink.gif

well, i'm online with hp right now and he said that the internal clip may be broken. and the computer is a year old too. so fustrating!

Ah ok... that'll explain it lol... well now a days you can find some really high quality mouses for great prices online. Otherwise you'd have to go to a retail store like office depot/max or CompUSA. wink.gif

i'm hoping that i don't have to pay for it. because i'm in a recession :D

you can just open it up..
oops, well thats what i did when my roller on the bottom of my mouse was getting stuck, it just had nasty dust and it was stopping it..
