I cleaned up this first post a bit. Anyone who wanted to read why I'm doing this and all that jazz probably has done so already.

Anyway, I finished up page two: click. Page one can be found here.

I think they're kind of nice. Although, Alfred's skin is kind of pale but idk if you did that on purpose...I think you good job though. I hope you win the contest. thumbsup.gif

Lol, once I saw Alfred (nice choice of names, btw) I was thinking he was supposed to be albino. An albino in board shorts? heh. I like how you did Alfred and Ellie's eyes.

I think you have a great chance. I mean, from what I have seen, anime drawings in the end all look the same. But yours will stand out more. Bobo is adorable.

I seriously considered the Batman thing when I named him, haha. But the name seemed too perfect for him, so I couldn't change it.

So awesome. You should definitely post the story here in PDF or something whenever you're done. I've never read any Anime Manga, but I'd sure love to, especially if it's user generated.

lol Liv, anime isn't read; it's animated, hence the name. Manga (pronounced "mon-guh") is what you read. ;)

Gabi, Bobo is adorable.

^Really? I didn't know that...but I don't really know anything about anime/manga in general. All I know is that I watched Sailor Moon when I was five. pinch.gif

Lol yeah. Anime is like manga but animated. So shows like Naruto, Bleach, or Sailor Moon would be anime as to where the "comics" would be manga. tongue.gif Oh, and Gabi, are you working on the Ellie story? I can't wait to see it. :)

Anyway, I updated with the second page. I'm a lot happier with how this one came out than the other. It was a lot easier, too. I think it was because I had the weekend and wasn't so tired from testing.

Awesome! I actually like this a lot more than the first page. Oh, and, if you don't mind, what is the actual story about Gabi? Is it supposed to make "life" more fun and less boring/dull? tongue.gif

You're right, but that first page just made me so tired and frustrated that I couldn't help but be pessimistic. I definately got A LOT of vector practice out of this.

Yup. It's a bit cheesy and not the most original, but I thought it would be cute. Cute stuff is much easier to vector than scary, dark stuff.
