Promotional Online Ad for "Soirée", a new sister entertainment branch under my umbrella corporation. Basically, we throw huge parties in New York City. It's really not much yet, I just want to know if it's functional and catchy; I just want it to generate some hype for now:

What song is that? I heard it on the radio today (: I love the site, I would definitely make the font more legible though. Maybe a bit bigger, and bolder.

The only thing that I would suggest changing is the logo. It looks messy having the graffiti type tag, and the clean sans serif font join together that way.
"Insomnia" by "Craig David" is the song. |

Ooo, I like it but I think it could use just a little something else. I don't really know what but I still think it looks cool the way it is now.
 Oh, and Murat, that's his signature site logo so yeah... I don't find anything wrong with it.

Thanks Murat (: Oh, and by the way, I looked at it again and I think the links look a little weird sticking out that much past the big "SOIREE". Just my opinion. I don't know if it looks like that on all resolutions...?

Okay so here's what I've got so far:
- I changed the size of the text so that it's more legible (I have this thing for small text, it just seems cleaner to me) - I added the navigation to the bottom of the logo, though it's true, I do feel like it sticks out too much from the bottom. - I also agree with the comment that it seems like it "needs something more," I'm not entirely sure what it is either, but I want it to be simple, not simplistic. Any more feedback would be great! I always appreciate cB's comm's comments. |

Font looks much better
I still think it sticks out too much, maybe make it into two lines? Maybe to add somethin gmore, you could put the logo/text into a semi-transparent box... black? So you can still see the background, but it's dimmed inside the box... that would also improve the readability of the text... Just an idea, I agree that there could be something more, I just can't quite put my finger on it.

Okay, so I totally moved the navigation to the left of the logo, getting rid of the awkwardness under it. I also put a semi-background for the white-text to make it easier to read. It should be fully functional now, with all the links working etc. Keep it coming!

Wow Jon this is f*cking amazing. I absolutely love it. The font's a bit hard for me to read. It may be because of the animation you added or because I have bad sight. Or both haha. But I really don't have anything bad to say about it. And the song goes great with the site. Fantastic job.

I love your designs, but I feel like your biggest downfall is always your text and its readability... and I think being able to read the site is pretty important
