what over-the-counter or prescription drugs have you mixed and how did it turn out? (just to see what's okay to take together and what isn't)

i just took mucinex dm, but i sort of want to take nyquil in a few hours to help me sleep. they both contain dextromethorphan, so i'm not sure if mixing the two would be a good idea. has anyone tried it? was it ok?

I mix NyQuil with everything, if you have somewhere to be early then I wouldn't though.

I had the flu not too long ago and I mixed Dayquil with Excedrin. Well, since my job had me staying up for days on end and driving for long distances, I also was taking Ripped Fuel to keep me going.

Bad. Idea.

^ yeah, bc usually with active ingredients, they give you the right dosage and if you take another product with the same active ingredient, you end up taking more than the recommended dosage which may lead to a potentially lethal overdose, i.e. liver damage with acetaminophen.
