I agree that the purple and red combination doesn't look too good on this. It's kinda plain and basic but it's ok, I guess. Nice job though.

so do u have any suggestions on what colors would match ? lol or should i just use a use a hue/saturation layer to make everything the same color ?

The text kinda seems squished to me
 Maybe try some different fonts.

i like the third take, but i think you should change those thick black borders. they don't seem to suit the rest of the graphic. perhaps a different colour, or make the borders thinner? just my personal opinion.

Oh, I like the 3rd take better now. Although, I agree maybe you should do something about the big black borders. Maybe give them a gradient or kind of make them fade? Idk. Also, maybe lower the reflected text opacity a bit and kind of leave a little space between the regular and reflected text. You could also try adding a little thin line in that space.

just thought of it, i think you should make the text at the very top either all red or all black. the first thing i see is "iminal", not "subliminal" - it stands out too much from the rest of the word.
