i need help. i dont know what to do., about namecheap.com's domain..

so i wanted a domain and this person online, i guess you can call her a friend? she bought one for me and she used her address & email and everything. [when she receves email, she forwards them to me..] she bought this domain yesterday and since everythings her address, and i was wondering if there was any way i can change her info to mine? there should be another email coming she says thats like the domain is complete or whatever... i dont know what to do :/ i dont even know how to pay for it since everythings on her account she says.. i dont know.. i dont know what to do. someone please help me? i dont feel comfortable typing in my address on HER account where she can see. i dont know when i get my domain if i'll get my own account?

she bought my domain on namecheap.com btw .....

I think all you would need to do is log in> account setting (or something titled like that)> change email, password, etc.

That's all I think you would need to do.

i guess i should wait til the email comes... and if i still dont get it, come back here to check? because thats what i thought.. but she said that she did it on her account? i dont even know what that means

i guess that means when i change something, i'll be changing her stuff?

you would be changing something on her account but ask her if you can link to her website (if she has one) but change the email and that account info to your email and password.

this is a reason why you should buy domains within yourself, Im pretty sure if you set up a namecheap account, you can transfer the domain within namecheap accounts for free (or the fee is really minimal) thats the beauty of namecheap :] Just create an account and ask her/him to transfer the domain under your name :]

She probably registered the domain under her name and then listed it on her host as a subdomain.
