If I told you in person my full name would you be able to spell it out properly?
So if I told you my email or website was called joseph benjamin cohen and then you went to the computer or you wrote it down how would you spell it? I actually have never seen my birth certificate so im not sure if that's how my middle name is spelled but anways...

My brother has a hard time with his name because people always spell it sampson.

Do you mean... sounding out the word and spelling it out the way it sounds? Cohen can be tricky because of the "h"... but since I know Cohen is spelled Cohen (had friends with that last name)... No.. your name is easy to spell out.

That's why i'd not make a site name, from a full name.. to many chances for error..

Though, your last name, "cohen" sounds like "kohin"..

you should look at your birth certificate. i don't know why but i like looking at mine. it's proof on paper that i was born, when, where, and my parents info too. they got my dad's place of birth wrong on my sister's birth certificate.

My first and last name are actually pretty easy to spell but my middle name is actually kinda hard to spell and pronounce. My middle name is Villalba.

As for you Joseph, I would also spell your name the way you did.

You have an easy name to spell, Joseph. Whenever I have to tell someone my last name (like for business stuff or if they have to look up a membership somewhere) the person gives me this look like I am crazy. Luckily, a lot of my friends can spell my last name, but other people like to leave out letters or add letters. EVERYONE misspells my first name, but if someone is reading it the person usually mispronounces it. (Which is sad, because when my name is said correctly, it sounds really good)

I think its a simple name to spell.

People have issues pronouncing my last name more than spelling it. They say Esperanza instead of Esparza. I mean come one people, there's no n in my name. My middle name is Marie, and everyone knows how to spell that. The only issue people have with my first name is that they think there's no e or it's Abbie instead of Abbey.

^ Reminds me of Christy and Cristy and Cristi. Or Steven and Stephen. A lot of names have more than one way to be correctly spelled.

Wouldn't you like to know wink.gif Everyone calls me Dee, though. Some people that I went to high school with didn't even know my real name.

I would be able to spell out your name, Joseph.

People always have issues saying my name. I remember one time a teacher in high school called me "Natalie" & I said "It's Natalia." She then said "Oh I saw 'N-a-t' & assumed it was 'Natalie.'" hammer.gif As for my last name, everyone says it wrong. They usually say "Bears."
