Please make this thread helpful for the mods.
Mods are members, also. So member bashing is not allowed, as always. Don't make it a personal vendetta, please. Keep the bashing at 0%, please. Any moderator has the right to close and unpin this thread at the signs of bashing, pointlessness, and/or any other guideline breaker. I do hope this works out. I want to stress that this is not the place for personal attacks. If you really have to, keep it in the PM system between you and the mod. This thread is here to help mods work better with members. Please do not make this thread into a full scale discussion. Its main purpose is for members to evaluate moderator performance. If your question/concern has been answer, cease to post here until you have another concern. Thank you. So...your thoughts? When I meant line, I meant if you started to apply, usually there will be a plethora "x" amount of applicants.

honestly thomas you need to just let it go already. I am not going to defend my ability to be a serviceable staff member, because obviously I must still be around for a reason. Your constant and never changing pretentious attitude is the reason why people really don't want you on staff tbh. Maybe if you just humbled yourself for once instead of acting like you are entitled to a position on staff, people would actually get along with and respect you better.

I don't post everyday. There have been plenty of times when I'm not here as an Admin. In all honesty, I'd rather not have mods posting useless things in the community just so that it looks like they are here.
Kristina - She was having some computer problems, and she probably wasn't able to make an announcement to CB that she was going to be gone. But she did let staff know that she was having computer problems, so DS/HS was prepared to cover for her if she couldn't get online. Amanda - She still posts. She hasn't been as active as she was before, but she's well aware of that. Javonn - He's going through some personal stuff, and I'm not going to put him on blast. He did the right thing by letting staff know that he won't be here until he gets things resolved. James - He was a Mentor, which technically isn't a mod. He isn't a Mentor or Mod, so chill. Honestly, just because a mod doesn't make an announcement to all of cb that stuff is going on that they have to take care it doesn't mean that staff doesn't know. I wouldn't want anyone to put cb first... and I also wouldn't want to hold it against someone if they had to step away from the computer to deal with some personal stuff. |

I just wanted to say (not that have a place to say anything) that since I've been apart of this site Jusun has pretty much rarely been around. Nothing against him or anything (I'm not taking sides), but that's how it's always been for the most part and staff members (and community) just have to deal with that.
Also, why should mods be forced to post everyday? Seriously? I can see if you stop posting for a month or so, but every day? It's not that serious, I promise. |

skimmed through a lot of 'junk' about what a mod should and shouldn't be doin' but tbh I think @ this day and time of cB, the role of the 'mod' is played down and no longer as significant as it once was

That was the past though, and I would have to say that cB was MUCH MORE ACTIVE overall [back then]...blah blah blah I'll post more later if I feel like it, but anyways the point I'm making is (sorry for being redundant) that at this time, it shouldn't really matter in terms of activity. Activity hasn't been a big problem because there isn't a bunch of spam or issues that need to be dealt with forum-wise, so what's the point in posting all the time? Shit, cB staff members aren't even getting paid for their time. |
