haha, I find that hilarious.
let people on the internet keep their personal interests personal. Theres already other stuff like this all over the internet. and I'm pretty sure theres some messed up stuff going on in PSN's home. edit - what politicians and news reporters need to know is VIDEOGAMES AREN'T REAL. people need to stop taking this shit seriously, like that kid that got arrested for having a map of his school for Counter Strike. |

I'd rather pedophiles use that website as an outlet for their sexual urges. It's wrong, but what can you do? It's not like the makers of Second Life created the game to appeal to sexual desires.
(Although they probably knew it was going to happen.) Instead of trying to ban a website that doesn't even support pedophilia, you should be more concerned on staying away from it. Yes we could ban it, but where do we draw the line? Who decides what to ban? |

You wouldnt believe what they have on youtube.
Someone dared me to search pregnancy. Apparently as long as a video is "educational" they let it on youtube. |

"...including torture, which i declined." i like how he had to add that he declined like a nice normal reporter should.
really though, that's sick. if they're gonna do that sexual stuff they should create a completely different site for it. |

IMVU I think. I would think it is nearly impossible to ban/monitor stuff on the internet. I mean there is a lot worse stuff on the inter net then this. |

I was looking at a website that listed a whole bunch of MMORPGs and SecondLife was randomly on there. There were about 40+ reviews, and people who discussed the pros and cons educated me a lot. I don't play SecondLife and gear toward more anime-based games with good quality, but I was really curious about what the craze is with this game.
Yeah, apparently you can sell anything pixelated for real money on that game, and it'd sell really well. Some people make a living off of that shizz'. Some argued that this game would be good for people who want to script and code things, because you can make your own worlds and stuff. But nearly everyone said that on this game, there's a lot of pedophilia and perverts on there. I personally wouldn't play it because of that, its bad quality, the whole concept, and all of the no-life losers who play it. I also heard of all of the lag and server crashes it has. Overall, it's not my type of game anyway. I'm all about the asian-anime-based MMORPGs, not ones based on reality. Then again, if people like it for business, advertising a talent or service, or just plain fun: I guess I can't judge them for that. I wouldn't play it, though. :X And I think the pedo' problem is a big issue, but like everyone said: what can you do? You'd probably have to shut the game down altogether to prevent the problem if there is just too many pedos on there. So... I guess it's not exactly the "safest" game on the 'net if there's truly not much they can do. x.X |

speaking of tha second life game, my professor was telling me about a person he knows and his job is designing clothes for that game. people actually pay REAL money to buy clothes on there. what the f*ck I play SL. I've spent maybe 10 dollars total on the game, and have made a couple hundred. There's profit for people who know what they're doing. I was looking at a website that listed a whole bunch of MMORPGs and SecondLife was randomly on there. There were about 40+ reviews, and people who discussed the pros and cons educated me a lot. Servers rarely crash unless someone is spamming a sim with useless high poly or high particle items. And it's easy money. |
