I HAD A COLD ALL WEEKEND AND THIS MORNING I WAS SITTING IN CLASS AND THE TASTE CAME BACK TO ME AGAIN. f*ck shed some more light on the phenomenon or tell of your own reoccurring sick tastes if you have any. |

I can't relate, sorry. :( When I have a cold, everything smells and tastes like sulfur. It's miserable.

 Feel better, sweety!  Mmmm, you know that gunk they put in your mouth to make a mold for your retainers for braces? I have that taste sometimes. I hate banana laffy taffy, but it sure beats the taste of rubber. |

i don't get any reoccuring tastes or smells when i'm sick but sometimes when i'm work i get a strong whiff of kool-aid.... it's wierd 'cause we don't have any kool-aid or any other kinds of fruity beverages. and sometimes i'll get whiffs of things that smell like the school where i went to kindergarten. i don't exactly wha the smell is but it's a good one and it always brings back good memories.
i would tell a doctor about what you're experiencing. he or she may be able to clear things up a lot better than anyone on here can. maybe go to the doctor while you're still tasting it. |

... I kind of like the banana laffy taffy, even though it has the artificial flavor...
 When I got the stomach flu about 5 years ago (if anyone remembers me being in the hospital for 3 days! D:) and was puking my stomach acid out, it was horrible. Ack and you know how they say that throw up tastes like orange juice and pizza (I can't remember where I heard it from)? Well, it really does. I don't think I've ever eaten pizza and washed it down with orange juice, but just the thought of it is really nasty. Even when I got shitfaced drunk one time last year, my vomit smelled like pizza and orange juice. EWWWW. I don't even know if what I'm saying is even relevant to the topic, lol. |
