Someone has recently come to me, asking me to make them a website layout. They said they would pay (although I'm totally sure this is legit), but in any case, I'm curious as to how much you would charge for that? Obviously I'm young and fairly inexperienced and what not, but what is a good starting rate?

Time = Money.

If they're wanting a super detailed, ultra refined mega awesome layout, then I'd charge more. If it's something really simplistic then i'd charge less.

We have a thread like this...somewhere...
Nevermind, i'm delusional.

Depends on what they want honestly.

Like I made piealamoe.com

Considering my boyfriend worked with the lady a while back and she started up a new business I believe I only charged her like $70 and I made her a shop but its been taken down.

Only took me a few days to put together though, very easy site.

If they want a really complex site then I would charge more, but yea..you didn't really tell us what your doing exactly.
