For a question that may seem like it would have obvious answers, things don't always turn out that way.

Sometimes birth control fails. I'd have to be practically infertile and have my partner fully checked out for STDs before I do that (again).

Or, you know, married or in a completely stable, committed relationship full of trust and honesty.

It feels better without the condom and I get less irritation cause I'm really sensitive down there...

But without it, I keep thinking I'll get pregnant.

I'm looking into these condoms. Apparently, they are so thin, guys keep pulling to double check its on.

I dislike condoms immensely. I don't use them now, as I am in a monogamous relationship and have been for almost 2 years. They take away so much of the feeling.

Because it can be!

I think that there is always a risk of catching an std with or without a condom.

Well I've been on the pill since I was in high school and recently switched the Nuva Ring. Plus, the majority of people I've slept with, I've been in relationships with/monogamous with. I am not too worried about STDS.

I, personally, don't like having sex with a condom. I also don't like wearing a seatbelt while driving, or wearing a flak jacket and kevlar. That doesn't mean that if I'm harms' way, I won't be extremely cautious.

Right. I mean...I think that if people are cautious about what they do, then they won't need to worry so much. Is there always going to be the risk of disease with our without a condom? Absolutely! I just think that haven't sex without a condom is much better than having sex with one.

to me, using a condom is all about not catching something, instead of not getting pregnant. if youre having sex its because youre ready to deal with the consequences of possibly getting pregnant. i mean you wanna have a kid after you get married not before

sure people dont care either way.

i prefer not using one and have been with the same guy for 2 years. plus condoms are very uncomfortable.

man, the condom is probably one of greatest form of sterilization without people really knowing it. sure, it's a really good way to prevent pregnancy, but over the past decade or so, there has been so much emphasis on wearing a condom to reduce the risk of HIV/STDS. i won't go into this debate about how HIV is a socially engineer bioweapon to sterilize and get rid of inferior people. HIV theory is probably the biggest lie of this century, and is a man made disease which is most likely originate from Manhattan, new york. i been doing alot of research on this topic about HIV, but I won't go into that debate in this thread. anyways...

wearing a condom while having sex can be fun at times. especially the foreplay if the girl puts the condom on for you.

also it could be bad, if you're a f*cken n00b and have a hard time putting the condom on your dick, which would make for awkward moment before the sex.

but i prefer having sex with NO condom on. it just feels more intense and real. the feelings are more natural and the penis feeling on the labia feels really good before the actual insertion when you're about to f*ck her. with a condom, you're dick can feel her pussy alright, but it doesn't feel the same, because there's latex between your dick and the vagina. i don't know if anyone know what i mean by this.

I understand completely. Besides, you shouldn't be having sex with someone u met two weeks ago. If you're that worried, you should both get tested TOGETHER so that way you know you're safe, without making you partner go alone and feel as though you think they have aids/hiv or any other STD. Also, many stds are not protected from by condoms [ if that makes since ]. The Human Papilloma Virus [HPV] which is the most common STD, isn't censored by condoms because a condom cant protect your entire dick, sack, etc.

In conclusion, get tested, wait until you're ready, and enjoy the pussy. [or dick if you're a chick... or a guy if ur into that kinda thing shrug.gif]

So you're having sex, I assume. Does that mean you're ready to be a mom? And getting an STI is a consequence of having sex. Does that mean when you have sex you are ready to deal with having HIV? Just because you choose to have sex does not mean you are ready to deal with the consequences it might pose. You accept the risks but that does not in any way mean you're are willing to take them on.

I hate to break it to you. But people may cheat. So you might be with the same guy for 2 years but he might not have been with the same girl for those times. And also hate to break it to you, no matter how long you've been with someone, the chances of getting pregnant are still the same for a 2 year or a 2 week relationship if you don't use protection (birth control and/or condom): 17-20% each sack session.

Of all the STIs in the world, HPV should be the least of your worries. It is one of the rare ones that can go away on its own without leaving incredible amounts of damage. Also, it is spread mainly from skin to skin contact. So if someone's hands touches their genitals and then touches someone else's genitals, HPV can still get spread. Is that your excuse for not wearing a condom? Cause it doesn't completely prevent against 1 STI so you might as well ignore the other 10?

Fun fact:
One in five sexually active teenage girls becomes pregnant every year

Im not saying that you should ignore wearing condoms. Im just saying condoms aren't as effective for preventing STDs as getting tested and sticking to one partner. I'd rather have sex with one individual who I know is disease free and I can go w/o a condom, than to have sex with multiple people who I barely know and use condoms that aren't effective enough in preventing many dangerous STDs. Im not bashing condoms, Im just saying my opinion.

I never said not effective, just not AS EFFECTIVE as getting tested and sticking to one partner. This method ensures no disease is being transmitted, as opposed to condoms with different people where there is no 100% guarantee that you're safe. Im sure if you google it you'll find all the proof you need.

you sticking to one partner doesnt mean she is, so your theory is highly flawed. also, getting tested is not a form of STD prevention, its just a realization. i did google, and all i get was, CONDOMS ARE HIGLY EFFECTIVE AT PREVENTING STDS

I'm well aware. I'm from DC, too. And you still believe that being faithful and being tested are the absolute best ways of not getting an STD? You know realistically that that can't work without correct condom usage, right?

But if you are getting tested regularly, would you say that you cannot tell if she is sticking to one partner? And would you say that using condoms are safer than having one partner with whom you get tested regularly?

Yes I agree its good to do both, however I was just contrasting the ideas against each other to show which is safer imo. However, I disagree that it cant work.

i'm up for abstinence. but like BOSS said just because one partner is faithful doesn't mean the other is. for me, if i'm anywhere near having sex with a guy i have to trust that he won't cheat on me. i also have to trust that if he does he'd tell me a.s.a.p.

Also, Im not saying just jump in a relationship ad have sex with your partenr unprotected. But I would like to think that if you are married and you and your spouse are tested regularly, you would be able to have sex unprotected. But then again there is the whole infadelity thing... Hmmm... Damn you Boss and your clever ways

This is not true. It's been proven that you can't just stress abstinence and faithfulness in relationships in order to prevent STD transmission. I should know, I worked for a nonprofit that focuses on sexual and reproductive health. I can direct you to a few of their fact sheets for your consideration.

After reading the lasts couple of posts, I'm questioning if BamBamBoogie has ever even had first hand experienced with sex, to even talk about this subject.

I would use a condom if the girl absolutely wanted me to but I prefer not to and most girls/women I know don't like them either. It's kind of like taking a shower with a rain coat on.

of course it feels better without,

the penis and the vagina are like best friends...but there is some evil things that can be in them snatch's, so us guys gotta protect our pecker's before going splunking. because ya'll chicks some nasty bitches

listen kids, having sex without a condom is like chugging pepto, at first your like "yeah this feels pretty good" but afterwards your like "dude i really shoulda took some safety precautions." its just like that.

i don't know never use condom before, i enjoy making sex without condom, but for birth control sake condom is the best option if there is no pills:)
just be careful guys, double check if needed.

As for feel, definitely without. There's no objection to that..
But, I would rather have him wear one and sacrifice a little bit of pleasure than him not wearing one and me getting knocked up.

I dont think the question should be "Do you prefer sex with a condom or without?" It should be something like "Do you prefer going to the clinic before or after you're leaking funny colors?"
