'De-Lovely' actress Ashley Judd and Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin have locked caribou horns over a controversial program up north that allows killing wolves and bears from airplanes.

Judd appears in a new video for Defenders of Wildlife, saying "It's time to stop Sarah Palin and stop this senseless savagery." In Alaska, private citizens are permitted to shoot wolves from the air or conduct land-and-shoot hunting of wolves in rural areas. Palin says it's an important tool to sustain moose and caribou population for the state's subsistence hunters.

I never understood the appeal of hunting. I'm not an animal rights activist, and, for the most part, I tend to not pay any attention to topics like this. But for real, wolves hunt and kill moose to survive. Why endanger one species to protect another endangered species? You want a kill a wolf? Fine. Disrupt it's resting place and take it on one on one, without a weapon.

I think hunting is very pointless and dumb, but I think it is fine to a certain extent, because i mean, we can't let certain animals over populate, i don't know if they would if people stopped hunting but yeah.
I don't see how it can be enjoyed, it would be one thing if they killed the animals to eat them or something, but all of the hunters I know kill for fun, i think its dumb.
