Have you heard of this movie Coraline?
Coraline.com It looks pretty decent.. I liked the Nightmare Before Christmas And James And The Giant Peach. And a forest of Cherry Blossoms made of painted popcorn sounds pretty awesome. What do you think? |

![]() So coming out in Feburary 09', does anyone know where to find a Coraline DIV layout or someone that will make one? This movie looks to be another cult film as The Nightmare Before Christmas did also. Henry Selick is a great director. It's nice to see this movie out of production after spending over 2 years on it. So watch the trailers! Also Coraline.com is availible. Its pretty sweet. What do you think about the movie or your thoughts on it? P.S. - The attachment is something you can do with your pictures in the "Other Mothers Workshop". |

Well now that I found out it's going to be presented in "real-D" I'm definitely going to check it out for the technical aspect. I'm hoping "real-D" is something where the depth is actually used for realistic purposes and not just for cheap tricks that pop out at you. 'Cause, that's be awesome to watch movies like that.

The previews make it look so dumb.... most things Tim Burton makes are horrible.
prime example: The Nightmare Before Christmas ![]() edit: and who can forget the horrid Sweeney Todd ![]() |

Hahaha I loved the book when I was younger. 5 years ago I think was when I read it ?! Hahahah.
and when I wikipedia'd it I saw that they were having a film of it coming out in 2009. That was like 239480234 years ago so 2009 seemed like decades. when I saw the trailer in theatres I was like :O HOLY SHAAAAT I remember this! Mustseemustseemustsee. Hahah. |

What?! Helena Bonham Carter is playing the Red Queen? I always pictured the Red Queen as a fat bitch... but yeah, no surprise that she'd be in yet another Tim Burton film. They make a fantastic team though, so I don't mind.
I totally pictured Willy Wonka when I heard Johnny Depp would be playing the Mad Hatter. Can't wait! |

That's awesome. The only movie I've seen in 3D was Beowulf, and I only went because I wanted to see what a 3D movie was all about. That movie ruined it for me. But, I mean, I wasn't expecting much. It is Beowulf. The 3D was, unfortunately, used for cheap tricks, not for any depth type realism. Alice in Wonderland? Whaaaaaattt? Ok, after an ounce of Seattle's finest, I'm there. |

I can't wait to see this. Sadly I have to drive a good 30 min to a hour to get to the nearest theater that is showing it.
Only thing I really don't like about this movie is Dakota Fanning, I don't know what it is but I have never liked her. |

Anybody seen the movie Coraline yet?
I saw it a couple of weeks ago and fell in love. The story is kinda creepy, but exciting and suspenseful at the same time. I have saved 4 reviews of it: the Chicago Tribune's, the Boston Globe's, Roger Ebert's and a local paper. They all had good things to say about it. |

The realD made everything look fantastic. It just looked so real! It was nuts. It did! Especially when she went around exploring! . Hated the 3D, but it was good nonetheless. It irked me at some parts, but I wouldn't say I hated it. |

Coraline is a great movie. I took my son to see it last weekend, he loved it.
It is really neat because it is made in the CGI animation and stop motion techniques, which makes the colors and characters come alive. Take your kids and family to this one, thanks. |

I adored Coraline, I always love how Tim Burton's movies always have this bittersweet feeling to them, not quite the happiest, but not quite the saddest. I've always loved his work and this was just a great addition to his collection of movies.

tim burton had nothing to do with this film. True. But in the commercials for the movie it says "from the director of The Nightmare Before Christmas" so I can see why they assumed. |
