Hmm, I think I've posted about this guy before. I can't remember what pseudonym I gave him, though. Let's go with T.
Last year, we were mutually interested though none of us ever did anything. Possible mistake. Aside from this relationship pink elephant in the room, we're very good friends--almost besties. This year, I suggested we try 'us' out, but he said no. His excuse: I'm too 'unique' to give up. At another occasion recently, he explained to me that he's basically scared that he will do something to drive me away forever. That's almost not giving me credit for my maturity--pissed me off inside. Tuesday--we were at Pasadena working on parade floats. Instances took place that made me rethink his feelings for me. - I was standing behind him in a cramped space between floats and playfully pinched his waist. He then grabbed my hands and wrapped my arms around his waist. - While in the car ride home, I had my hand upturned with my cell in it. He suddenly placed his hand on top of mine and placed our hands between us. We stayed like that for a long time. I honestly do not know how to interpret his moves. Generally, I am a touchy person with my friends, but I wouldn't do what he did to even the closest of friends. What the hell does this mean?? --Puzzled. |

Its pretty obvious that he is still into you, but based on what he previously said about not wanting to get into a relationship--he seems confused too.
I say if you are at a level where you can talk to him about anything [which i pretty sure you are], you should talk to him and ask what's up with all of the flirtatious moves. Don't let it come to an extent where he starts leading you on because thats when he'll be f*cking you over & you don't want that... |

I'm afraid that convo will go like this:
Me: Hey, what was going on between you and me that night? T: What are you talking about? You said yourself you're touchy. Shouldn't have bothered you, right? Me: [embarrassed] |

I think the combination of actions + words is what really matters. He might be playing around with the idea of you guys together, but if he still hasn't really made a move...at the end of the day, his feelings haven't really changed. Don't allow yourself to get f*cked over by him and his confusion.

Yeah, I see where you all are going.
I just really dislike serious conversations that can go south. Boys? Any opinions? |
