any ideas for my hair? Options

okay, so my hair is getting too long for me. and i'm starting to hate it. lol (x i hate the tangles and the same old long hair with bangs. a lot of people i know have that style and i'm so tired of it. now a lot of people are cutting their hair, having short hair and the bangs. i don't know if i want to do that because it seems like what everyone is doing. i want something different. my hair is naturally black, but i dyed it brown a while back. the brown is growing out and the black is coming in, i want a new style with my hair. highlights, cut my hair- just something different! i can't cut my hair too short cause my face is too round and it doesn't look good -___-. i've asked many people and they like my hair long and brown.. cause it's ASIAN HAIR! heh, i don't mind having it long, but i want to trim it or dye it, just something to make it look different. so i'm asking cB for the advice, any style or color ideas? please and thanks (:
