Can someone please tell me how I can make my .swf file to stop at a certain place? Like I don't want it to loop, just play once. I have 426 frames if that helps. I know it has to do with a function in javascript but it isn't working really well for me.

Preview your Movie (Control > Test Movie) or [Alt+Enter+]
When it pops up, Control > De-select "Loop"

That's CS4, at least.

Easy! On the last frame of your movie, go into the ActionScript and type:

CODE
stop();

That's it!

I assumed that Macromedia fix would work for my CS4 program and didn't follow through all of the steps. My bad...

Here's your answer.
File > Publish Settings > HTML tab
De-select the loop.

Edit: Or you could do what waccoon did.

It's called ActionScript, not javascript.

Also, waccoon got it right.
