so i'm making a dead hand. with a face. that'll be bleeding, basically. it'll be really cool.
it's obviously not done yet, but i want opinions on the hand before i add the face and such. i tried outlining with black but it was way too strong, so i changed it to a darker skin shade.
anything i should add/change/remove?

I like it a lot. It looks realistic. The colors you used look a bit weird though. But then again it's a dead hand.

I can't wait to see the final product!

This looks pretty good so far, although I think the palm's a bit too much lighter than the rest of the hand.

yeah i was going to ask about why the palm is lighter when it should be in shadow usually in that position. i'd probably have made it either darker or just left it the same.

i didn't see the point of finishing that area because it was going to be covered. :]
here's the somewhat final product...it doesn't look very real, though, IMO.

oh, just because. i've had major designer's block since late october so i just sat down with music and no distractions. the first thing that popped into my head was doing a hand because i need practice, so i did. then i decided to add the face.

i think i'm done...

QUOTE(Kristov @ Dec 22 2008, 11:46 PM) *
Can you teach me to create blood like that in PS, or can you point the way to the nearest instructional document?

i just drew it with the pen tool. it took tons of adding/subtracting to get it decent, since i had no reference. but what exactly do you want to know how to do? pinch.gif
