Mousse is a good start, but it all depends on your hair type.

tease it and add hair spray. or use rollers. or use a round brush while blow-drying altho your hands will ache really bad.

Definitely use a nice round brush. Mousse is always good, too. I wouldn't recommend trying to tease your hair if you're apt to getting knots in it.

I've tried teasing my hair and then hair spraying it but it won't stay up :X

Teasing doesn't work for me...
If you're then kind of person that has perpetually flat hair, like myself, then put a generous amount of mousse in wet, towel dried hair, followed by hair drying with a large round brush, and then using molding paste for a finishing does wonders (along with hair spray at the end). |

my hair is naturally voluminous. i get out the shower, and then it goes like all over the place. and i'm not bragging, i don't like it at all.

After you take a shower and add all that stuff to your hair, if you do that...
Lay on your bed and dry your head upsidedown. Comb and dry your hair while your head is upsidedown. :) It always works for me. |

Well, i use volumizing products in my hair. You can tease and use hairspray, but teasing damages your hair. So once you get out of the shower, blow dry your hair with a round brush, focus mainly on the roots, and you'll be good to go!
