it's probably a virus, usually I get my computer refurbished when it's like that, or you could reboot everything (if you still have the computer appilcations) or just point your computer back to a date when it was fine, (only my sony vaio and samsung can do that and my hp cant so it really depends)

I suggest you just clean up your computer completely (like use that disks that deletes everything and start from scratch). viruses are very annoying to get rid of and take up a lot of time. what I do is upload all the content i accumulate on my computer, so that if this ever happens i don't really loose much.

just format the thing. if it's from a vendor like hp or dell then it's even easier. just back up everything, then either use your recovery discs or hit f8 as it boots up and you'll be on your way to having a freshly-installed computer.

if that is not a viable option then if you can please describe the problem a bit more thoroughly then it may be possible to provide a simpler solution

Heres wat you can do for PC..

Go to START, ALL PROGRAMS, ACCESSORIES, SYSTEM TOOLS, and go to DISK CLEANUP.that will delete all the things that you dont need.

Your Computer may be FRAGMENTED, which means that its going really slow because of the Virtual memory on your Hardrive. so here you choose DISK DEFRAGMENTER.

or if you feel like none of them worked, then go to SYSTEM RESTORE.
