Now that you mention it, killer whales do look like big dolphins.

I like killer whales and dolphins!! I'm alright with sharks and turtles and crabs and seals too. Jellyfish are pretty sometimes, but wtf are those things in the second picture? They look like sea slugs... which were actually the first things that made me freaked out about the ocean. Damn National Geographic videos we had to watch in elementary school.........

Okay, I probably won't ever come back to this thread again. I don't want to accidentally stumble across a picture that will send me to the looney bin.

sad.gif whaaaaaaaaaaaat! they're portuguese man of war!

they don't remind you guys of pillows or dumplings?!?!?! they are actually venomous.
"The stinging venom-filled nematocysts in the tentacles can paralyze small fish and other prey. Detached tentacles and dead specimens (including those which wash up on shore) can sting just as painfully as the live creature in the water, and may remain potent for hours or even days after the death of the creature or the detachment of the tentacle."

I want some pork dumplings (siu mai).

I just googled "pork dumplings siu mai" and I got this picture:

http://www.4to40.com/recipes/index.asp?id=153

THAT IS NOT A SIU MAI. Or at least, not what they're supposed to look like.
QUOTE
Chinese dumplings have a savory mix of pork, green cabbage, garlic, ginger and sesame oil inside, and they are surprisingly easy to make

Pork yes, but NO green cabbage, NO garlic, NO ginger, MAYBE sesame. This lady is thinking of regular pork dumplings, i.e. potstickers. NO NO NO lady. I swear. I am never going to eat a white lady's version of Chinese food.

And omgomogmomg she used flour for the wrapper. FLOUR. JESUS.
