It's easier with the 1.0 profile for me, since I know how that works already. For the 2.0, it might be a little difficult because MySpace has put so much restraints on things. Anyway, try putting this in your About Me to add a top banner to your page:

CODE
<p class="topbanner"><img src="URL"></p>

Replace URL with the URL of the image you want to use as your top banner. Then, put this in your CSS section:

CODE
body {top:#px;}
.topbanner {position:absolute; top:0px; left:50%; margin-left:#px;}

Replace the pound symbols with the appropriate amount of pixels. Whatever the height is of your top banner, replace the first pound symbol in the body part of the code with that same amount of pixels. Tell me if it works.

How does it come out? Are you sure you replaced the pound symbols with the appropriate numbers? Anyway, if none of those questions affect you, look at my previous post and try the updated codes.

By the way, if you want a lot of things in the top area, you'd set it up like you'd normally set up a layout. In my opinion, designing a banner with the links and a section for the slideshow is easiest. Then slice up that one image, upload the images you've ended up with, then organize them with the appropriate codes. It's easy as can be.

Take out the <style> and </style> for the CSS and it should work.

Much easier now that you don't have to target tables. Check out my 2.0 profile(link is in my signature.)

Click here for one way to get a banner, doesn't work in IE though. I know of another way but won't work if they keep !important filtered out.
