Okay fashionistas and whatnot...I need help. Sooo on Dec. 6 I'm going to this big work, Christmas party thing and our group is going all in white...and I need a dress. I went to the big-ass mall out here (Metrotown) and found NOTHING. Blah. I'm gonna go downtown soon but if that fails, I'm thinking online. But, since its not that far off, I need somewhere within Canada or the US so it'll get here on time...

Website/store or dress suggestions? HELP. The only one I found online I like so far is this one from BCBG
http://www.bcbg.com/product/index.jsp?prod...rentPage=family
A bit outta my price range. =p But oh well. But yeh.

Thats such a pretty dress, though the price is a bit of a downer. I always hate how pretty dresses can be so expensive.
Have you tried delias? They have had some really cute dresses.

try white house black market! EVERYTHING is black or white. granted most of them are a mix of black&white, but there are some solid colors (mostly black tho...) like this one

the first one and the last one are too expensive. and the one in the middle is too long and is a bit casual.

BEST PLACE TO GO IS... Macy's.
It's the nicest dresses at a great price.

This might not be what you're looking for but its cheap and there are other dresses too. Plus Nordstrom ships to Canada! And if you find a dress you like online but they don't ship to Canada, you can always use BongoUS. You set up a US postal address on their site, they recieve your clothing and put it all in one box, and then ship it to you!

^ imo there are a LOT of cuter dresses on Bluefly for around the same price.

Best thing about Bluefly is that you can browse by price and colour. :) Although they really ought to use a different colour mannequin when showing their white dresses. =_=

...this one maybe? There aren't many white dresses under $200. :(

I have several $30 off $150 coupons for Bluefly if you decide to purchase a dress from there :)

I get charged duty whenever I purchase from there, though... and shipping is about $30..

Only the first one would actually be considered a cocktail/party dress though. Plus, Stephanie and I are both petite, and I know that the second and third would not look good on me, just because of the cut and style.

The first windsor one looks a little more casual/party, rather than cocktail/party, but it's definitely REALLY CUTE. eyebrowes.gif

Yeah especially since the second one even reaches lower than knee for the freakin' giant model. It would be mid-to lower calf for us petites. And that is probably the most unflattering length in the entire universe unless you're Heidi Klum.

Love that first Windsor dress.

Personally I like the peeptoes, but I'm partial to peeptoe pumps over any other kind of heel, so take that with a grain of salt. =p

Bah I want new shoes so bad, but soo broke. But thanks guys! More opinions please! tongue.gif Cause yeah those were the only shoes that really went with this dress...but you can't really see in that pic, but those peeptoes have red underneath.

Yeah peeptoes > the first pointy ones, but closed toe and rounded > peeptoes. But since you don't have the right ones, peeptoes it is!

Ehh, you're short, you can get away with showing more skin than the average girl. And what's a couple of toes? ;)

I'm also partial to the peeptoes - they look super cute! You could always doe white and plain french tips on your toes wink.gif Also I've always thought peeptoes are more visually slimming on the legs than closed-toed pointy shoes - I'm not sure why. It happens to me.

Damn, that dress is HOTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT. Especially on you, Steph! throb.gif

Haha yea I have some shoes that I cannot wear for a long time but I do anyways, but fortunately I bought some that are comfortable... which I end up wearing everyday lol. Actually, my right foot is slightly bigger than my left. It's a fact, since all the shoes I've tried on have felt tighter on my right when compared to my left! ^^;; But it's not a big difference though.
