ok this year i made this new friend since shes new to the school her name is Jennifer, so we've been talking since shes in my 2nd period class but we cant talk that much in class because of the teacher,we only talk only before class and after class, and while we're talking theres always an interruption which is her other friend, alexis while we're talking and when she sees alexis she stops talking and they begin talking to each other, or while jennifer is talking to me she suddenly stops talking when she sees alexis and we never get to finish our conversation and it kind of gets me mad because this happens every other day, and also when they're talking jennifer ignores me at times i can tell she likes alexis more than me what should i do about this? she tends to ditch me just to talk to her should i not take this personally? please help me i don't know what to do

She ditches a guy who she only talks to in class and has no history with to talk to her friends who she cares more about and has more history with?
Run. There's obviously something wrong with her.

You should start giving more attention to Alexis and see how that works out. If she becomes agitated or jealous of the attention you're giving Alexis then you will know whether she likes you or not. Girls become overzealous easy. Trust me on this.

maybe she feels more comfortable talking to alexis more than you. since she's new maybe she wants find a new girl bestfriend.. are you starting to have feelings towards her or something? because guys don't usually care if they talk to girls when talking to them.. idk

Confront her about it. Tell her if she's always going to ditch you then why bother having an intelligent conversation with her. Just stick to small talk. Find a friend that won't ditch you.
