I don't feel like watching the video (what do people have against reading?), but there's a chance she could appoint herself senator if Stevens gets elected, convicted, and expelled, and Alaska ends up dealing with the situation by governor appointment rather than a special election. Even then there's a chance, I guess, but I think at this point Palin staying out of national politics will just be a pipe dream.

I didnt watch the video.. but my mom said that others in the rep. party are trying to crucify her and get her out of the scene because she is competition in the future. (2012)

I think she will come back... I dont think this is the end for her.

If she plans to run in 2012 i really hope she looses. Shes a joke, and really hurt her own image and McCain's.

america is not dumb enough to elect someone like palin as a president. they couldn't even do it as vice president.

i don't think there are near enough obsessively social conservatives to even get her to be the nominee. (i mean that's who basically supports her anyway, not the level headed republicans) it wouldn't happen. the republican party wouldn't let it happen. that's basically going to guarantee a loss for them...

because she's an american?

i don't want any american citizen to be assassinated. i mean i don't like/agree with her ideas but that's pretty extreme to want someone to die over that. it's not like she's really hurting anyone.

I hate it when I get redirected to videos. Like, either tell me what the video is about, or direct me to an actual article. I don't want to waste 3 minutes of my life to watch a video in its entirety, I'd much prefer to skim an article quickly.

^ Yeah, pretty much all that is what I would agree with. I said before that Palin had a lot to do with McCain's loss this time round, so if she ever ran for president, I don't think America would be stupid enough to vote for her.

Ok, so, seriously. Please. Get over yourself. People were dumb enough to vote in a shitload of dumb people to be president. And they all got what they asked for. So, please. Just remember that people will get what they ask for and STOP insulting the intelligence of those who do like Obama. Because really, it just makes everyone who is a republican seem like an ass, and we're not. Or at least I'm not.

Well, they do have the same amount of national security experience: zero. Right there is a similarity. So, it is fair to compare them

I hate how everyone can make topics "insulting" Palin and then I make one comment about Obama and everyone jumps on me. wtf.

Okay, yes, neither of them have that kind of experience, I'll give you that... but the difference between Palin and Obama is that one actually knows basic facts about foreign countries while the other insists that Russia is only a couple blocks away.

lol go look at obama's educational background and then go look at palin's. or...just listen to obama and listen to palin. it doesn't take much to figure out who is the more intelligent of the two.

it cracks me up how even the republicans here get annoyed at dosomething888. i think that says something.

In 1982, she enrolled at Hawaii Pacific College but left after her first semester. She transferred to North Idaho community college, where she spent two semesters as a general studies major. From there, she transferred to the University of Idaho for two semesters. Palin attended the Matanuska-Susitna community college in Alaska for one term. The next year she returned to the University of Idaho where she spent three semesters completing her Bachelor of Science degree in communications-journalism, graduating in 1987.

In 1988, she worked as a sports reporter for KTUU-TV and KTVA-TV in Anchorage, Alaska, and for the Mat-Su Valley Frontiersman as a sports reporter. She also helped in her husband’s commercial fishing family business.

Following high school, Obama moved to Los Angeles, where he studied at Occidental College for two years. He then transferred to Columbia College in New York City, where he majored in political science with a specialization in international relations. Obama graduated with a B.A. from Columbia in 1983, then at the start of the following year worked for a year at the Business International Corporation and then at the New York Public Interest Research Group.

Obama entered Harvard Law School in late 1988. At the end of his first year, he was selected, based on his grades and a writing competition, as an editor of the Harvard Law Review. In February 1990, in his second year, he was elected president of the Law Review, a full-time volunteer position functioning as editor-in-chief and supervising the Law Review's staff of eighty editors.Obama's election as the first black president of the Law Review was widely reported and followed by several long, detailed profiles.During his summers, he returned to Chicago where he worked as a summer associate at the law firms of Sidley & Austin in 1989 and Hopkins & Sutter in 1990.After graduating with a Juris Doctor (J.D.) magna cum laude from Harvard in 1991, he returned to Chicago.

Barack Obama's ancestral roots are in Africa.
Sarah Palin doesn't know that Africa is a continent.

That's the difference.
