Hi
I have one more question left and I have 30 minutes to do it and I can't figure it out. I would appreciate any help!!

The vapor pressure of water at 25.0 C is 23.8 torr, and the heat of vaporization is 43.9 kJ/mol. What is the vapor pressure (atm) of water at 43.6C ?

this is late but whatev.


Use
ln P2/P1 = - (delta H vap / R) * (1/T2 - 1/T1)

P1 =23.8 torr
P2 = ?
T1 = 25 + 273 = 298 K
T2 = 43.6 +273 = 316.6 K

delta H vap = 43.9 kJ/mol
R = 8.314*10^-3 kJ /mole /K
By substituting above values and solving the equation

P2 = 67.35 torr
