I am from a land where elders are respected
Where a Buddha necklace stay hangin' where my neck is
To a memory in the past that my life can't outlast
But I'm from a time that rhymes oh-so-sensual
In an era that is oh-so-sexual
Where it's hard to be complacent
But where I'm from I knew where my place meant
And my placement is right here
Through all the long years
I stand rigid, without fidget, next to family and friends
With them, my path will never end
