I hate it when someone sends me a text message starting a conversation, then I respond and they never respond back again. It's like "OH OKAY act like you want to talk and then.. don't!" I dunno why, that just really bothers me, even if it's someone I don't really want to talk to.

Also when you're having a good conversation and it's their turn, and they respond back with "k" or "yeah", which is basically a "pass", making it YOUR TURN twice in a row. When that happens multiple times in one conversation, it gets hard on the person who keeps having to think of something to say, damnit!

Okay this isn't ALL related to text messaging because I really don't text all that much.

LOL <3

I'm not usually a very talkative person, and I have lots of trouble making conversation sometimes. I'm okay with ending the conversation when it's not going anywhere and not thinking twice about it, but if they've started a conversation and now they're constantly waiting for me to say something, it makes me REALLY nervous. =x

MY BIGGEST PET PEEVE EVER IS WHEN PEOPLE ONLY TEXT JUST 'HI'

like not even a 'wat's up?' it's not much to respond to and i think it just irks me when texts aren't longer than like 3 words lol probably cause i don't have unlimited texts.

Haha whenever my friend does that, I usually say something similar back. Then the conversation turns out like this:

:K.
:Yeah.
:Seriously.
:Sure.
:Totally.
:Yup.
:Definitely.

And then it goes on. It usually ends when one of us gets pissed off and just stops :X

@espressive: Oh I don't have unlimited, either. I get 200 a month, which (since I don't text much) is more than enough IF PEOPLE DON'T TEXT BACK ONE WORD RESPONSES all the time. mad.gif

I think it's funny when you get the kind that you don't have to respond to, though. The "I'm watching you" ones or something, lol. I was sitting in the recital hall and this girl sitting behind me texted me with "Hey it's time for the trombone recital." And once I was in the drive-through at Taco Bell and someone sent, "GET THE BIG TASTE TACO" or something like that. It was so random. xD

i dont know how you survive on 200/month! i get 400/month and i have trouble with that, probably cause my friends are avid text messagers. my guy friends think it's funny to piss me off and text "hirene" cause it's a combination of hi + irene. psh, they think they're so clever.

LOL the taco bell one is so creepy. i've totally done that tho. except i do it when i see my friends at restaurants and they haven't spotted me yet.

once i was hanging out with my bf (at the time) and i got a text that said you look really cute today :) i didn't believe him when he said he could text without lookin at his phone so he texted me from his pocket when we were walking lol

I'm glad that I have unlimited texting. Since most of my friends have different class schedules than me, I can text them rather than call. It bugs me, though, when they randomly text me asking me how I am and once I reply they never reply back.

I have 400 per month and I think it's really funny that my friends don't believe I can survive on "only that many?!".

I really hate it when that happens too. My friends, despite how much texting they do, can not get over that.

The most annoying thing with texts has to be chain texts though. Oh how I loathe those. I get on average 3 of those a day, and usually it's the same one from 3 different people.

If they actually worked, I'm pretty sure I'd be dead now, cause I refuse to take part in the dumb act of sending them back.

I f**king hate that. I rarely get texts, I get excited that someone sent me one, then nothing.

my friends aren't too big on that (thank god), but i got a funny one the other day. it said "The women in the US are shaving their coochies in support of Obama. Their message to the world is "READ OUR LIPS! NO MORE BUSH!"
