Hi, I was wondering if anyone could recommend a small, lightweight flash MP3 player, with the MP3 file preferably not hosted by me. It would be nice if it didn't have advertising plastered all over it too.

Thanks

if you don't mind only one song, there's audio player. it's a wordpress plugin, but there's a tutorial for how to make it work on myspace here.

there's also the pretty sexy dewplayer.

You can also use MyFlashFetish. If you know codes well enough (<a href="">) you can get rid of the advertisement.

Yeah, I'm actually using that right now, but my issue with it is that it seem inconpatible with the DIV layout I have right now (when the player is "center" or says center, it's shifted way towards the right in the div layout). I'll check out the other ones and let you guys know which one I prefer. Yeah, I only have the need for one song.

Thanks

^That's not just the myflashfetish ones then. All flash players will probably act funny. If you post your codes, we could help you get rid of whatever's doing that.

You would have to put the player in a DIV layer and make the DIV layers dimensions the music player's dimensions.

Great idea, I will do it today.

Thanks

If it doesn't work, please post the codes you're using. You might have embed/object codes that are clashing with your music player.

i use this http://musicplayer.sourceforge.net/. it gives the option of a small one song player and/or a slightly bigger one for more songs. i havent found a way to customize the colors BUT its still fantastic if you dont want ads all over it and whatnot. and as far as not hosting your own songs, i use the mp3 links from playlist.com. :X its not as simple as others but you'll get it.
