It was a special comment of similar tenor directed towards John McCain that made me fall in love with Keith Olbermann. He's so awesome.
I wonder what she and the McCain campaign are going to say about this. |

I can't stand staunch partisans on either side. Keith Olbermann is no better than Sean Hannity. I like how he criticized Hillary Clinton for going on the O'Reilly Factor, and then said nothing when Obama did the same thing.
Actually, scratch that. Keith at least does hilarious impersonations. |

I am no fan of Sarah Palin, but I think comparing her situation to that of a woman who was desperate enough to shoot herself in the chest is going a little far.
Oh, I've actually watched the video now; it does get better. I was just reading the transcript before, and failed to make it all the way down the page. Yeah, I find her shit incredibly disturbing. I have read as many Obama conspiracy theories as I have negative articles on Palin/McCain, and I still don't think this shit holds up. Was it really necessary to drag his "associations" with Ayers back into the spotlight? Obviously the reason it wasn't "talked about" (and I assure you it was...try actually reading a news source, dear) was because it's not a particularly valid or substantiated concern. Ayers is a professor now, yeah? So if I were to take his class, or even to meet him, I would forever have "terrorist ties"? Bullshit. |
