i was just wondering if you ever talk about this kind of "girl stuff" elsewhere. when i was about 8 or 9, i found a website just for kids to talk about that kinda stuff. i was open about it with them, because i befriended them, of course. but i didnt really talk about it anyone else. then i got my period, and i just had to vent... so i posted about it on another website, which isnt meant for that kinda stuff. it became a VERY popular thread. now i am very open about talking about this stuff everywhere, to everyone. even boys ;]

i dont exactly tell the whole world either. but all of my friends do know. strangely, only one person in my family knows, and at least 15 other people that are just friends know. haha... i guess i just feel more comfortable around my friends.

Some people are open about it. Most guys don't want to hear about your period, or how it makes you feel.

My roommate was complaining to out boss the other day about her cramps and he said, "I really don't give a shit!"; and walked off.

I'm really open about these things.

Most of my friends are guys anyways and whenever I feel like making things awkward in PE I just shout: OH NO I DIDN'T WEAR A SPORTS BRA TODAY MY BOOBS ARE SO TENDER I THINK I'M OVULATING. and then I run off.

I don't really talk to boys about my period, not because I'm embarassed, but because I know they think it's disgusting. Guys don't want to hear about that stuff.

Although, this one guy friend of mine is more open about my period than I am. "Can I come over, or are you on your period?"

ehh, i'll talk to my friends about it if they bring it up.
because most of my friends are pretty open, but i won't talk
about it to guys, because most of them don't want to hear it,
and i'm personally not too interested in sharing with them XP

Periods are normal. I talk to my friends about it. I would say" ugh, I feel shitty because have my period." they would be saying" Me too!"
It's whatever. Guys hate hearing about it.

I guess if it comes up. I'm not going to bring it up though. It bugs me when girls use it as an excuse for everything. Like,
"Oh, sorry I'm moody. It's my period."
"Oh, sorry I don't want to do anything today. It's my period."
"Oh, sorry I just swirved off the road and killed that pedestrian. It's my period."

ha, yeahhh they do tend to use periods as their excuses. my friend analie, her first one recently ended. she made me and my other friend help her with her books and everything. :P and some girls turn down guys who ask them out just because theyre on their period! its like, just bring extra pads or tampons in your purse or whatever...

I talk about my periods with my girlfriends.
It's not a gross topic when you're discussing it with a crowd who understands.

I talk about it with my guy friends when I'm being annoying and intentionally wanting to bother them.
But generally, I'm pretty open cause I figure, they're all normal biological processes, so why not talk about them?
