^ Definitely high-waisted anything. I saw a girl in my math class wearing a tank with high-waisted shorts and it's the first time that I didn't think it looked weird at all.

Agreed with Tung about fringe scarves.

This year when I went to NY, a TON of people I saw were wearing fringe scarves. mellow.gif
Honestly, I didn't know it was that popular, because only a couple of kids here wear it. I wore it when it was cold, like dec of 07. o-o I didn't even know it was anything considered fashionable because nobody hear wore it. ._.

A ton of people wear plaid/checkered shirts, though. And ABDC shirts.

Gladiator sandals are on the way out, I can't see how this trend has carried on for 3+ years and only now people notice them. It's mainstream now.

I loathe uggs, and anything high waisted. WHY would anyone imagine that either of those things could be attractive. Why?

I don't really even know what's 'IN' at any given time. I don't really see anything around and think I haven't seen it before.

Gladiators are in, but last year they were sort of harsh and very masculine-looking.
I think this year they're getting feminized.

There's a trick to finding great high-waisted pants/shorts.
You need to find one that makes sense.
One that doesn't make your ass look like it's trapped in mom jeans.

Cardis are a classic, never really been a "trend". I've seen a lot of girls wear oversized ones recently though. <3

Some guy in my math class wore a fedora to class (a white one) and we laughed at him. He looked ridiculous. I think the only people who can wear fedoras are hipsters and people who live in Hollywood. I've never understood their appeal.

and gladiator sandals are on there way out... But I still see a very few people in hollywood wearing them... but only a few people can pull them off...

short shorts with uggs ... i think is kind of trashy, just my opinion though

plaid has been in for a long time. and LA isn't really the center of fashion. If you're talking about the center of fashion in the US, it's NYC. LA, and the rest of California is more laidback, therefore, do not follow fashion as closely (although they're still better than 90% of America). If you haven't noticed, gladiator sandals were still large on the runways this last month of fashion week, sure they may have been modified, but they're still in.

And, the fact that it's getting cold, of course people won't be walking down the streets in flat knee-high gladiator sandals. No, instead, it's all about pairing stockings with gladiator platforms.

Yea I know NY is the center of fashion in the US but LA is fashion forward to. and it where I live so I pay more attention to fashion here
