Hey, everyone. CreateBlog is in need of Design Staff members, so you'll see several topics regarding this in the Resource Center.

We are looking for members who are:
  • knowledgeable about web and graphic design (mainly MySpace and website coding)
  • friendly, patient, and approachable
  • dedicated to CreateBlog, and would be able to check in frequently
Your job on Design Staff would involve helping in the Resource Center and reviewing queue submissions. You would also be expected to contribute to Backstage discussions, offering input on CreateBlog issues.

Please PM an Administrator or Head Staff member (click here for the staff list) if you are interested in a staff position, and we'll see what can be arranged. Thank you. :)

Some Resource Center forums are visited more frequently than others. This is a way to ensure that the word gets out to as many prospective applicants as possible. :]

There hasn't been a deadline established yet, but I've recommended this Sunday (8/31).

You should PM an Upper Staff member if you're interesting in a position, but checking in on weekends isn't as often as we'd like. :\

Mel got offered a Design Staff position but turned it down because she wasn't as active. But I think she would be good now.

If Melissa wants to be on design staff then she can simple PM a admin or Head staff and tell them so we can add her to the list.

We asked her a while ago but she turned it down.

I would like to add that it is great that people are suggesting people, but it would be a real bummer if we decided to choose people that people brought up and come to find out that person wasn't even interested. So I think its best for those who are interested to PM the head staff or admins and tell them that you are interested so we can send you interview questions.

sorry for the double post but If I edit my post no one would read it. so I want to nominate some people, I know this might be risking my chances of getting design staff, but at least if I dont get chosen then I only want the best for design staff.[not saying Im the best]. I want to nominate fixtatik and allvanishing or envisionartist.

I believe these 3 people have very extended knowledge of design and I personally know all of them and they are very approachable and always are willing to help people out especially fixtatik, Im not sure if they are willing too, but I would like to nominate these three.

You'll get a PM if you were hired and then we would announce it. Also you should receive a private message with the interview questions that you need to answer and reply back to the original sender.

Also if anyone applies so to speak, make sure you can receive incoming private messages, because that's how we send the interviews and if we can't get a hold of or receive your answers by Sunday, then well your going to have a problem on getting even considered.


Those who are nominated in this thread will not be sent the interview questions, you must come forth and PM a admin or head staff if you are interested.

I'd say hopefully by the end of next week. The application and interview process should be completed my Sunday, but whether the discussion is over is beyond me.

Hm, well, I'm moving into college today and most likely wont have the computer or internet access for most of tomorrow, so do you think I can try to get the answers to you by Monday morning instead of Sunday?
