Okay, okay I know that maybe I shouldnt have posted this cause there was a virus thread open already but I wanted my own topic so ya.

Well, I have a question for all of you wonderful people =)

I have F-Secure AntiVirus software on my computer. It costs $50 a year and is wonderful. Well, my dad's friend (a computer genious) installed it on our new computer a year ago and I never really paid attention to it cause we never had a problem with anything... it blocked all the viruses.

So all of a sudden, I realized it was expired because this beautiful thing popped up on my computer, replacing my wallpaper:

So, I renewed my Ativirus software and I did a full computer scan. Then my computer shut off and a blue screen popped up. It said my computer had shut down in order to prevent further damage to my computer. It keeps doing it over and over. And I cant leave my computer off all the time cause I have work to do :/

So I called the F-Secure people. They are located in Malaysia. I can hardly understand them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I sent them a diagnostic report or somethin. And they are going to get back to me.

Does anyone know what the hell is going on with my precious computer and if there is anything I can do about it????

(I applaud you if you read that entire thing.)

thanks :):):):)

I had a similar problem to you with spyware,
basically i had to go through all my programs i had
and delete anything that had "spyware" in the name,
and any programs i didnt recognise,
i found i had alot of adware on there too and my computer was getting real slow so its lucky i cleaned it out when i did.

If you're still having problems and your security software has expired id reccomend getting AVG from here it worked wonders for me.

hope this helps :)

Or you can just ask someone to fix the computer for you.
Or even you could restart your computer if it's that serious....
