Hi all,
I am new, however, I have been a keen reader of this forum for a short while now. My name is Laura and I am from London in England so hi everyone! I thought I would create a thread that was dedicated to the man in our lives because so much of the posts I have read have been of bad experiences with men. While my relationship isn't perfect, I still have lots of love and admiration for my man and so I thought it would be a nice idea to start a thread where people can start by saying, 'I love my man...' and then say their reasons. I do not mean to put down anyone's bad experiences with men, it is just, I have had so many nice experiences..why not share them? ---- I'll start, I love my man because he is not just my sexual partner but my friend and even more than that, my best friend. I confide in him and he confides in me. We talk about everything..i mean everything. Sometimes we hear things that we do not necessarily want to hear at first but in the long term it has worked out the best policy. This way, everything is out in the open and I really feel that I know him 100% and him, me. Look forward to hearing all your stories!! Laura |

Because he's like a cartoon character.
Like seriously. His right eye is smaller than his left and when he smiles it gets even smaller <3 I don't know. Just everything about him. His quirks, the stuff that pisses me off. Also he doesn't say it much and does not show it in the conventional way, but he's always there for me, and we can be completely ourselves around each other. It's just awesome. |

I love everything about my man.
 The way he looks, the way he smells, the way he talks, how we are so comfortable around each other. He's better than my closest friends. I love how I can tell him ANYTHING on my mind, and he always has an answer. I love the little surprises he does for me. I love how he constantly reminds me that he's in love with me.  I wouldn't trade him for the world.

Frankly I haven't been dealing with boys OR men. That post was written in a bit of a ranting phase. It still partly holds true though.

:D I love my man because we're where the bestest of friends first, which led us to where we are today, he's easy to talk to, funny, cute, and loaded. (I JOKE I'm NOT a gold digger) I like that he's smart and not a drop out like the other idiot's I've dated.
I like that he loves me for who I am and not what I've got (As most guys did. Or. "Liked" me for) I like that he's there for me no matter what. :D Shall I go on? :L I like that he's not like normal straight guys, but he isn't gay. :D or taken by someone else. :) |
